My family and I have gone here on Christmas Eve for the past few years and it’s been a wonderful experience! The staff are friendly and excellent service all around. This year, we didn’t care for the starting meal or dessert options, however. We’ll still come back next year.

The salad was very good. The cioppino was just ok. The pork was wonderful and wish that it was on the regular menu. The cranberry tart was great. The servers have 6 tables to take care of so service can be spotty. Six tables is too many when you’re paying these prices.

The food and service at the Firehouse is consistently above average, way above average. The ambience in the main dining room is perfect for us, with music that is pleasant. Most restaurants play music so loud that you either don’t go back, or you run away from. At the Firehouse you can actually carry on a conversation. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is very attentive. We look forward to dining at the Firehouse again and again. Thank you Firehouse for being so reliable.

Food was delicious and the service was outstanding! This restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, but worth every penny. Couldn't have asked for a better meal; highly recommended!

Our server was wonderful but it was the food that wasn't up to par. Steaks were overdone and a bit burnt - disappointing to say the least!

Incredible atmosphere. There is no place in Sacramento that duplicates the vibe of Firehouse. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Service took a long time when we were seated. Long wait even for water. Waitress apologized for the long wait, but it would have been nice to have drink orders taken while waiting. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the beet salad. Pork chop was huge, enough for two meals. Steak was perfectly cooked. Churro dessert was very tasty. All in all the meal was a great holiday special treat.
