The Fox is an award winning pub & fine dining restaurant with rooms located in picturesque Willian near Letchworth, North Hertfordshire. It has a great locals bar serving a wide selection of real ales and lagers, dog friendly. Our newly refurbished stylish, relaxed 2 rosette restaurant serves an abundance of locally sourced seasonal produce with an accessible wine list as well as an extensive bar menu.

We have created a beautifully landscaped outside dining area with heating and lighting. Each table has an umbrella for cover, but please come prepared for inclement weather. If the weather takes a turn for the worse and you have booked an outside table we may not be able to accommodate you inside.

The Fox also boasts 8 beautifully designed bedrooms adjoining the pub which are open all year round. 5 of our our bedrooms are also dog friendly.

Table was ready and we arrived early. It was our first visit and we loved everything about it. The service was very good and nothing was too much for Charlie. And then we all had great tasty food

We had our Christmas work gathering at The Fox at Willian yesterday. The whole experience was great, and the food was exceptional. The waitress who looked after us was so friendly and accommodating and always had a smile on her face. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Very good food and ambience on a visit for a Christmas meal, albeit quite pricey. Attentive service from staff.

Food was delicious as always! Sadly though, my niece had to make a makeshift veggie meal out of roast potatoes and veg as there were no vegetarian options on the kids menu. Service was ok, we ordered a side of cauliflower cheese that didn’t arrive but we weren’t too sad about that as the main was quite big. But we were brought 2 wrong puddings and had to wait a little bit for the correct order, which when it arrived was delicious!! Still a lovely pub and will be back of course!

Food was ok, large portions but lacked taste. The main complaint was the complete lack of atmosphere - bearing in mind this was the Christmas Menu/dinner. I don’t believe there was one Christmas light/effect in the restaurant other than little Christmas tree on the tables that looked like an after thought. I struggle with this ‘pub’ especially as it’s part of a very successful chain - it really is the poor relation, Suffice to say we won’t be eating in the restaurant again, there’s too many other excellent eating establishments in the area. …and they got the bill wrong !!

Just a simple business lunch. Fancied fish and chips which was really nice. Nice quiet booth the talk business and very good attentive service. Have previously been for a Christmas meal. Very nice place.

Service was slow and they were not that busy Food was lovely although not much of it! The cheeseboard was disappointing again not much of it and the cheese was as if it had just come out of the fridge!
