Our waiter Jackson was amazing. Thoughtful and efficient and also extremely hardworking. He helped a table who had not been waited on so professionally and responsively. Great employee!!! You should be proud of him as a part of your team!

Can’t say anything bad about the staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I went with one of our sons to enjoy a family meal together which with our hectic schedules is rare nowadays. We ordered the Keg burger, the prime rib and a rib steak. My son enjoyed the burger. My wife said the prime rib was rather tasteless, very bland. My rib steak was ordered medium well and came well done with a black seared crust. The staff had to take it back to have another done. Meanwhile, my wife and son were eating their meals so the family eating together idea was lost. My steak arrived after everyone was finishing their meals. It was grilled better than the first but still not what I knew a Keg rib steak to be. The mashed potatoes were pureed. You could eat them with a straw. They must’ve had new people in the kitchen as this was not how I remember the Keg used to be.

My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday. Excellent service from start to finish. Food was delicious and prepared as we had requested. It was served in a timely fashion and was hot.

The kitchen service was slow 1.5 hours at the table before the mains arrived , and when they did the prime rib was cold , they did take it back , but by that point as you can imagine the novelty of a nice dinner with the family had worn off thoroughly. The Keg in Pointe Claire has been a staple spot for many years for both family meals and also had been a reliable spot for business meals on a reasonable budget. I can say for sure I wont be willing to chance the experience again at this location again

The Keg Pointe Claire is a large nicely appointed restaurant. We arrived at 4 and were on our way out by 6. We did not feel rushed, the service was attentive and professional. The two of us sat in a lovely booth, as requested, which is much more private and quieter than being in the middle of the restaurant. We both ate the Classic Prime Rib, with twice baked potato, Keg Caesar salad, mushrooms and onions. My piece of meat(which was medium rare) I found chewy and when I was asked by the server I said so, which is unusual for me. The next time I looked up the restaurant manager was at my side and he swiftly took my plate and brought me back a completely new one, in less than 5 minutes. This time the meat was so tender it was amazing! We don't always find this level of service these days but I was very pleasantly surprised that someone actually listened to me and wanted me to have the best experience in their restaurant. BRAVO!!!!

I ordered the Top Sirloin medium rare , it was chewy and I have trouble cutting through it with a steak knife at some part of the steak. That was disappointing. The vegetables which came with the plate were good. Mushroom rice was bland but the steak was salty . I guess they canceled each other out.
