This was not our first time at this location.Our reservation time was respected and we were seated quickly. The welcome was really nice.The issue began soon after the order was placed. The service became inconsistent from that point on. We were a party of four people expecting to eat together all at the same time. Meanwhile I received my salad 20 minutes before my family received their appetizers. We were told that it was a busy evening and that there were issues in the kitchen. Every night at the Keg is busy so this should not be the excuse that it is the holiday season and that it was busy. Once we all received our meals we were quite stunned to see the amount of vegetables that came with our plates. Literally 4 string beans each. However an over abundance of beets decorated the plate. The food is not the issue. We did enjoy our orders. However you cannot serve one person and forget everyone else. This is not acceptable. Once we ordered our coffees our server rushed to bring us our bill. We felt like we were being forced to leave. One thing that was very disappointing was seing a zero charge for bread that we never received. As well my order was supposed to come with the sautéed mushrooms which it never did. Overall experience makes me think if it’s really worth a return visit.

Sahra was amazing. She took care of the entire time and made the evening very pleasant. The food was exquisite , The spritzer mocktail was delicious. We had an amIng time. Thank you to the chef and to Sahra

I had a wonderful time at the Keg tonight. Maddy took very good care of me and the food was delicious! The rib steak at the Keg just melts in your mouth, the salad couldn't have been fresher and everyone working there was so kind and pleasant! It's my favorite go to restaurant and always will be!

I usually love going to the keg. It is one of my favourite restaurants. Tonight I was underwhelmed by the service. I felt that as soon as we were finished eating, the waiter was rushing us out to the point I was feeling uncomfortable and was not able to enjoy the conversation with my friend

We were three friends who have eaten at the Keg in Pointe Claire and have always enjoyed the food and the service is top notch. We always eat in the bar area. The only downside is that the prices are really starting to get beyond the average persons reach. We always try to attend during happy hour to take advantage of some of the bar area deals on food and drink.

At the end of the day my food was cold. I was with clients and didn't want to make a scene. My Peppercorn New York Steak looked as if it was sitting prepared for a while. The jumbo shrimps were also small and warm on the cold side, nothing to ahhh over. I enjoyed my wine, J. Lohr never seems to disappoint. Food could have been way better...the Downtown location of the Keg was great as I ate there last week and ordered the same.
