As always, The Keg delivers everything perfectly. Just one slightly negative comment, sometimes the veggies are a bit under-cooked. I know it is hard to get that right, especially with broccolini!

Our burger was dry and largely tasteless, and the sides on both our meals was pretty low quality. The twice baked potato was cold in the middle (microwaved?) and fries wrinkly and dry. The prime rib was decent, not incredible, but a nice meal. Price is high for quality. Our server was fine.

This and our previous visit to the Keg did not live up to our expectations, so we do not plan to visit The Keg again in future. The food has declined in quality greatly over the years. It used to be of the highest quality, but now it is not at all remarkable, and as such is overpriced. My wife said that her French Onion soup was not very enjoyable, and it made her feel ill later in the evening. Her Caesar Salad was covered in bread crumbs to the point where she said it looked like they had upended the last of a bag of crumbs on it. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich, in which the meat was very fatty, and which was not as good as simple "Beef Dip" I have had in many other lower priced restaurants. The french fries were no better than frozen fries I can reheat at home. In years gone by, the food would have been much higher in quality, the server would have come to offer freshly ground pepper and parmesan cheese, and the portions would have been much larger. For some reason, our table was overlooked and we sat for 20 minutes before one server stopped to ask if we had been waited on. He was then very apologetic and immediately served us, although it was easy to see that it was not supposed to be his table. He was exceptionally pleasant and gave great service, and even spoke to the manager and obtained one free dessert for us to make up for the long wait, but even his good service could not really make up for the overall experience.

Our waiter was wonderful food great. My only note was when we showed up 10mins early and there were no benches the hosted suggested we wait in our car.

If you want to have a great steak, go to The Keg. It's what they specialize in and they are the best, hands down. The service was excellent - our server was experienced and attentive. The food was fantastic. Calamari was crispy and light. Steaks were perfect. One person in our group ordered the pistachio crusted salmon - it was excellent. We were too full for dessert but there was a great selection. Be sure to make a reservation - it was busier than we anticipated on a Sunday night.
