                                                                                                I had the keg burger. It was good. My friend had the steak, but it wasn’t hot. It was just a room temperature. I asked for just normal butter with the bread but They brought me bread with garlic butter, Server came just only one time to ask how was the food but never came back to refill water  I end up, leaving only 10% tip instead of 20% -25% tip

                                                                                                went to the Keg Dunsmuir about a month ago and the meal was not good. My favorite has always been the ribs. ordered Ribs and they were not cooked well and had no flavor. Tasted like they were boiled then wiped with a little bit of Barbeque sauce. Didnt eat them but let it go and hoped it was just a one time thing. maybe a newbie made a mistake. better luck next time. Valentines day went to the Keg Yaletown, thought im going to try the ribs as there was no way they could ruin them like last time. They were the same! maybe they changed their way of cooking but i couldnt eat them. they were horrible. I wont order them again.

Hostesses went out of their way to help us find a table that worked for our special circumstances. Waiter was very helpful, service was prompt and just the right level of friendliness. Food was very good.

I had planned a surprise for my friend’s birthday, yet the server never mentioned it or brought a cake. Instead, we were simply handed the bill right after finishing our main course. I had even recommended your restaurant to friends visiting from overseas, which made the experience even more disappointing.

                                                                                                I returned to this location after a rather less than stellar experience a couple weeks prior after the manager reached out to hear about my lackluster experience. Luckily, I happened to have some guests in town and we booked for 6 on a Sunday night. Compared to my last experience at this location it was a huge improvement. The service from the front door reception all the way through the evening was at the high level I have come to expect from the Keg. The bar staff was helpful and accommodating, the wait staff attentive and prompt, and the food was excellent, as one expects from the Keg. My guests had a great experience and it being their first time to a Keg walked away with a very positive impression of Canadian service and food culture. Even the washroom was up to the high standards that I have come to rely on from the chain. I do not know if corporate management reads these reviews, but they should be aware that their store managers at Yaletown were proactive in their approach to my poor review and then when I agreed to give the location a second chance showed me that I had indeed been unlucky my first time at this location. I should also note that at no time did they try and induce me with offers of free food or discounts. They simply listened and promised to deliver a better experience on my next visit and I am happy that I did visit again. I have another out of town guest coming to Canada for the first time and the Keg Yaletown will be on the itinerary.

The waitress is friendly and the atmosphere is good. It's my first time to The Keg in Yaletown and I really enjoyed the service and the food here.
