A modern take on the original Village restaurant (established in 1947), our reputation is for serving Baton Rouge’s finest Italian, Prime Beef, Maine Lobster, Veal and fresh Gulf seafood. The Airline location features daily specials, a full bar and can accommodate private parties for up to fifty. We also have space for up to 15 guests in our bar area where dinner is also served.

Our server never told us about the specials nor asked if we would like to see a dessert menu. Very disappointing…

                                                                                                I ordered the chicken Alfredo with angel hair pasta. The sauce was delicious as always. The 3 people at the table with me thought the same as me about my portion or I should say lack of portion size of the chicken. We all thought it was a drizzle of soy. Your food and portions of the entrees have always been above and beyond. My party of 4 was very surprised of my entree. Our server, Ethan was efficient and a delight. Your prices are adequate for your fine dinning establishment. We will continue to visit your restaurant. Maybe it was just an off night for the prepping of the chicken.

                                                                                                I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but today was very different. The booth we sat in had peeling seats. The food was lukewarm and not nearly as tasty as in the past. The service was disappointing. That said, it is the holiday season and this presents a unique challenge, as people come for large lunch parties. I will give them another chance and would recommend based on past experiences.
