A modern take on the original Village restaurant (established in 1947), our reputation is for serving Baton Rouge’s finest Italian, Prime Beef, Maine Lobster, Veal and fresh Gulf seafood. The Airline location features daily specials, a full bar and can accommodate private parties for up to fifty. We also have space for up to 15 guests in our bar area where dinner is also served.

                                                                                                Bread was some of the best I’ve ever had! Waitress was very friendly and polite. Mixed drinks were done well. Clams and linguine was very disappointing. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, but clams were rancid. Sauce was offensively soupy and under seasoned. It was so soupy that when the waitress took it from the table (barely touched btw) it sloshed all over the floor and they had to clean it up. Wine that was paired with the food arrived well after the food had been taken away. Servers were bringing dishes and drinks to the wrong tables all around us. Good but not great atmosphere. Next time I’d consider coming in solely for drinks and bread at the bar but wouldn’t order a main course.

                                                                                                The food was awesome, our server was professional. If I had any complaints it would be that we had reservations but had to wait and they sat us at a very small table that continuous traffic passing by from servers to people going to the restroom. Overall I was very satisfied.

                                                                                                As good as always and it literally is always an "experience." Take your time and enjoy. The bread is incredible and I always get the brucciluna. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Great red sauce.

The staff is friendly, the menu is enticing and the specials make it hard to choose. We had a last minute addition to our party size and the manager was gracious and accommodating.
