The Olive and Grape opened in September 2010. The owner, Paola Corsini, is third-generation Italian Levantine, born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. Paola's distinct culture is represented in the menu at The Olive and Grape. Each and every meal served is infused with the traditions of Turkish and Italian cuisine.

      Because we were late from traffic, the restaurant took our order and it was ready when we got there. The lamb dinner was great.

      This is a good neighborhood place to eat before going to Taproot Theatre as it has good food and is close to the theatre.

      Service was excellent. Good was good although the rice was cold. Would have preferred having the salads AFTER the starter instead of before but knew the starter took time to cook. Only huge downside to the experience was the actual table and location of the table. The table was very small and a bit wobbly. We were sat at the very back of the restaurant and had a view of the storage area and back door. It was very chilly back there and there was no enjoyment of the ambiance of the restaurant.

      We love this restaurant. It is perfect for dinner before a play at Taproot Theater. Service is warm and friendly (and prompt) and ambience is great - quiet music. It is hard anymore to find a restaurant that it not so noisy that it is hard to carry on a conversation. The menu is truly Mediterranean with many choices, and dishes are delicious. I gave 4 stars on food this time because my husband's lamb chunks were "chewy and sinewy" (although the ground lamb kofteh was fine.

      Went for 3 course restaurant week meal. Outstanding food and atmosphere. Parking available next to bank behind the restaurant

      I came here for Restaurant Week. Every thing we tried was delicious, and the server was very nice. Would definitely come back again.

      We hadn't been to the Olive and Grape for a few months and after tonight I have to admit that we were kicking ourselves that we haven't been eating there more frequently. The food was excellent- a great foray into Mediterranean cuisine from the family's origins in the area of Turkey and Greece. This is a family restaurant and the service is excellent; made us feel at home. Pricing is fair given the quality of the food and the service. In short, I would strongly recommend that you try the Olive and Grape; you won't be disappointed. BW

      Our anniversary dinner was wonderful as all our meals here have been. Can’t wait to come back for Seattle Restaurant Week. Only thing missing was Paola.
