   It is the quintessential experience to have in New York if you have daughters. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and the tea is exceptional. You will not be disappointed!! The service and food truly represents the epitome of New York culinary service. I was beyond impressed.

   From the time we entered until we left we were treated exceptionally. From the hostess to our waiter Porfirio we were amazed at the professionalism and quality of service of the staff. We can’t wait to return!

   We’ve been having afternoon tea at the Palm Court for the past 10 years and the service has diminished. They rushed us out, tried to take my plate while I was still eating a sandwich from, and when we asked for the desserts to be pack d to go they gave us boxes to pack for ourselves. In the past they take the leftovers away and pack them for their customers. Also, they no longer have sugar cubes but sugar packets. Makes the experience a little less special.

   This is really expensive for what you get especially compared to fancy hotel teas in Chicago or other cities. Note the tab with the taxes and the included 18 percent gratuity will be more than what you expected, add 100 dollars for three people. Still service was good and I am a fan of high tea. If you read Eloise and you have a daughter you have to do the Plaza once.

    Long check in. VERY expensive for what you get, even by NY standards. Service was great. Food was good for what you received, which is not a lot for $100+/per person.
