The Park Steakhouse has been receiving numerous accolades and awards since owners Chef John Halligan and Randy Carson opened its doors. The New York Times was quoted as “Unassuming Steakhouse is the Real Deal” and New Jersey Monthly Magazine awarded The Park Steakhouse, The number one steakhouse in Northern New Jersey by its readers in a yearly poll. The Park Steakhouse is a Modern American Steakhouse located in Park Ridge, New Jersey. Serving 21 day dry aged Certified Black Angus Sirloins and Porterhouses as well as a sumptuous selection of fresh seafood, always seasonal preparations, and farm-to-table ingredients. Our bar, cocktail program and wine list are designed to compete with the best of Manhattan. The impeccable service and outstanding food are sure to impress friends as well as business associates.

Excellent steak, sides were well prepared and tasty. Portion sizes were perfect for 2 to share. Drinks are very good as well. The servers were friendly and helpful. Even though it was New Year's Eve, we were not rushed. We finished the meal off with creme brulee and coffee. It was perfect.

They are always accommodating to small children. We try to book early reservation with young children and they are always prepared. This time we requested 2 high chairs and we were happy to see them at our table as we were escorted to our table. They pay attention to detail, and the staff are all so friendly and you really feel amazing being there. The food is top notch as well, and is only out shined by the staff, not just our waitress, I mean everyone. The bar tender says hello and goodbye even when we did not interact with her the host and hostess, the food runners, they are all very personable and care about their job. We love seeing some of the same faces each time we go. We love this place all around.

The restaurant is small. My seat was bumped into over and over again. The waitress seemed to think she was a nascar race and rushed everything and she belonged more at a diner not a steakhouse. The porterhouse was mediocre at best. No taste really. Lacked seasoning. We asked for some sauce to help give it taste since it lacked it and was charged $4. It’s not the money it’s called being nickeled and dimed. Unfortunately we really wanted to like it based on the reviews but just couldn’t based on the above. Also the menu on OpenTable states $115 and was charged $155 for the porterhouse. If it was good it would have been fine but to be charged differently with a steak that lacked taste was hard to accept.

Everything was delicious -- chopped salad, crab cakes, risotto, rib eye (shared), pork chop, hanger steak...you really can't go wrong. Cocktails were also great. Anna (server) is super nice and very patient. Highly recommend!

Oh what a meal each and everyone of the four us was well feed. We had Caesar Salad, one of us had fish which was perfectly cooked. I had steak, again perfectly prepared as I like! The others had filet mignon that was fabulous. It is my number one close to home spot!

Bartender excellent, Victoria excellent (server) food needs to be served hotter, except for the cream spinach, which could’ve melted down to China. Nevertheless, always a festive experience. I think one of two valets may gone MIA as many waited too long and cold for there car.
