The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.
Private party faciliteiten
The Rotunda can accommodate up to 160 seated guests with a dance floor, 200 seated and 225 standing for evening events. There is a private elevator on Geary Street that takes guests directly to the restaurant after the store is closed.

My overall experience was delightful. My only negative was that the pork sirloin was over cooked and dry. The service was amazing.

I had tea with my girlfriends and we are all pregnant. We had the best time and felt so taken care of. There wasn’t one thing I didn’t love and the service was fantastic. Such a classic San Francisco spot.

Love coming here to celebrate special occasions. It always delivers. The waitstaff are always excellent. The food is delicious and the ambiance is one of a kind. We will keep coming back!

We were seated in the back area without a view (bar tables are better) the popovers were not fresh and the service was brisk. It was disappointing.

The Rotunda is a regular treat before our Sunday matinee theater show. The dining experience is elegant without being stuffy. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious.

other than being served chicken consommé before we were asked what our food restrictions were it was a lovely afternoon tea at the Rotunda. my fiancé is English and he was impressed! the staff were friendly, accommodating and happy to serve us. the food was surprisingly filling. desserts were decadent. sandwiches were scrumptious. the NUIT À VERSAILLES tea was fragrant and soothing especially after getting drenched in the morning rain. the ambiance was delightful as its history.

We love the afternoon tea, the service, tea, strawberry butter with pop overs are delicious. The lobster bisque and burger are winners, too.
