The Rotunda serves afternoon tea seven days a week beginning at 2:30 p.m. (1:30p.m. Sundays). A tea experience reservation is necessary to enjoy our daily tea service. Any dietary restrictions must be noted at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

The Rotunda specializes in evening events including wedding receptions, corporate and convention dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties. Holiday parties are especially beautiful with the four story Neiman Marcus Holiday Tree rising up through the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer guests an intimate bird's eye view of Union Square.
Private party faciliteiten
The Rotunda can accommodate up to 160 seated guests with a dance floor, 200 seated and 225 standing for evening events. There is a private elevator on Geary Street that takes guests directly to the restaurant after the store is closed.

Daughter's birthday treat. First time for afternoon tea so we were very excited. Sat with window view of union square - delightful. Downer was poor food quality and lack of freshness. Food looked and tasted dry. Did kitchen prep these at 7am? Or worse, yesterday? Started with a tiny cup of chicken consommé, a light and fluffy popover with strawberry butter, these were a solid start. The three tier cake plate: Bottom tier - Savory scones were dry, over kneaded (tough, dense and heavy). Didn't try sweet. Midlevel - cucumber fingers looked and tasted dry (no moisture, no usual glisten from freshly sliced cucumber). When Costco smoked salmon is better than what was served - there's a problem. Beef slider was a meh as the bun was dry and a day old. Chicken curry croissant - tasty filling, day old dry croissant. Top tier - sweets. Underwhelmed and none were standouts. Please check the food before serving. This low quality product is not what one would expect from Neiman Marcus. Do better. The ambiance and staff were wonderful. If food was fresh, light, moist, tasty and different to other offerings then cost would be fair. It was not.

The Rotunda lunch was once again fabulous. Food was delicious. Kathrine and Pam took excellent care of us.

Our service was really attentive. The soup was wonderful, chicken not as good quality as usual this time & staff actually reduced our bill, and dessert was really good too. We always enjoy our holiday lunch here.

We had a very festive holiday lunch here on Monday. The service and ambiance was perfect and the food was delicious too!

Good food and good service. Only drawback was that this was a Christmas lunch but Neiman Marcus' gorgeous tree missing. Guess the Grinch stole it. This, of course, was no fault of the restaurant's, but it sure dulled the ambiance for this otherwise quite pleasant lunch with friends.
