Marylebone restaurant The Seashell of Lisson Grove promises to fulfill the fish and chips dreams of any discerning London diner. According to Chef Alain Ducasse, this fabulous kitchen serves up ‘the best fish and chips in London’. The restaurant has been famous for it's seafood for over 60 years, earning a reputation for serving large portions of the freshest, tastiest and highest quality fish & chips. The fish is responsibly sourced and the dishes are made using premium, locally sourced ingredients. It's this quality which makes the Seashell of Lisson Grove popular with celebrities like Lady Gaga, Danny de Vito and Ed Sheerhan.                                                                     Had a brilliant night there. The fish was beautiful and lots of mushy peas and tartare sauce : ) Service very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

                                                                    I remember the old seashell. No skate food quality was very poor The guys who worked there were pleasant but the overall experience was not nice. Sorry clean up your act. No skate for a fish restaurant unbelievable. They said they don't sell it as it was now more of a tourist spot. Clearly new owners

                                                                    We had a lovely, relaxed Friday Lunch! The service was wonderful! Our server was charming and attentive but also unintrusive when we were chatting! The food was lovely, though one of our dishes was slightly overdone!

                                                                    Fantastic fish and chips in a beautiful restaurant with truly excellent service, our waiter couldn't have been more welcoming and polite. A tad on the expensive side but well worth it for the quality of the food and the experience.

                                                                    Food was warm rather than hot. Cod was watery. A muddle over chips/salad. I know this is central London but prices are a bit steep. Overall a little disappointing.

                                                                    Superbly fresh Haddock, fried to perfection and the chips were spot on!! The service was a little slow considering there was only three tables sitting for lunch but not a big problem Can’t wait to revisit!

                                                                    Lovely fresh fish- well cooked and well seasoned. The batter was light and crispy and delicious. They also grill fish if you want to be healthy. Sides were nice too- a choice of either chunky or skinny chips, boiled or mashed potatoes. The grilled vegetables were lovely and the mushy peas were freshly made and good. Service was quick and friendly. Would recommend.
