The Sundial’s à-la-carte and seasonal menus as well as its cuisine and ambience are typically French. Our restaurant in East Sussex is perfect for a meal with family and friends or an intimate dinner for two, the Sundial’s lounge bar, French restaurant and private dining room provide a flexible combination for parties, business meetings, seminars, wedding venues and group events for up to 60 people. Our restaurant can cater for upto 150 people as a wedding venue. We dined here on New Years Eve and as always an excellent evening with Vincent and Mary. The food is first class and the service is amazing. Thank you Vincent and Mary. Best wishes Suzy and Malcolm

As always, a meal at The Sundial is a wonderful experience. It is one of the last bastions of fine dining and will always be a special place

The most beautiful place and the most stunning dining experience. Mary and Vincent are the epitome of class and elegance. The quality of produce is incredible and attention to detail is superb. Thank you for a magical experience

The Sundial overall was good, the food was nice and tasty generally although value for money perhaps not. The restaurant is a little tired and decor is from the 90’s. It’s a little dark in the restaurant making it difficult to read menu and know exactly what is on the plate! The host and staff are polite and service was great but the whole experience needs modernisation.

I think this was our fifth meal at the Sundial - this time with a party of six - and it was as wonderful as ever. Three hours of being cosseted with great service and first rate food. The Sundial is reliably excellent.

The restaurant was really lovely, service was great even though had a badly chipped glass which was rectified straight away. Staff were very friendly. This will be a special occasion venue as it was a little on the expensive side, but can’t fault anything else.

The Sundial is, by a wide margin, the best restaurant in East Sussex. Our visit there last week was another great pleasure. Superb food and impeccable service.
