The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.

We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors. We recommend a sweater or light coat during the evenings.

Shorts, baseball caps, sweats, sandals, tank tops, phone calls, computers and photos are not permitted.

Really bad service from the staff, and the manager very rude and unprofessional, he is a total jerk. Do not recommend this place at all.

Tower Bar in Los Angeles is a fantastic spot for a night out, especially if you’re looking for an atmosphere that exudes old-school Hollywood charm. The dim, elegant lighting and art deco decor set a perfect tone for a sophisticated evening. The food was solid—everything was well-prepared and tasted great. Service was top-notch, with staff attentive without being intrusive, adding to the luxury feel. A highlight was definitely the people-watching; the crowd adds to the energy, with a mix of stylish patrons that keeps things interesting. The only downside is the price, which is on the higher end, but it’s worth it for the experience if you’re in the mood to splurge a bit!

Go for the scene not for the food. Ridiculously over priced for fine food. Drinks are as over priced but are good.

As always, amazing experience. So happy to see Demitri back at the bar. Ray was fantastic and patient and allowed us a wonderful dinner. Jacob is our favorite and even though we weren’t in his section, he made sure to say hi and make us feel welcome. David is the best restaurant manager in LA. Such a professional and a kind man. Can’t wait to go back next week.
