Food was good. I had the pasta seafood special but didn’t love it.. it came in a broth and lacked flavor. My husband got the veal and it was excellent ! Loved the starter of complimentary housemade bruschetta and bread ! Service was excellent and they had a good selection of wines. Overall i really liked it and will go again but order a different dish

Wonderful dinner and superb service! Sam was a good seever. Veal chop marsala special was delicious and so were the lobster ravioli.

The food was average. We shouldn’t have sat outside, but I didn’t know when I booked it that it was right on the street. It was so loud with all the cars driving by that all the diners had to raise their voices to speak which made it so loud. The waiter had to yell to talk to us once he did actually came to help us. We were sat and several tables sat after us were served first. Towards the end of our time there the waiter loosened up and was kind and funny but honestly I think he was serving way too many tables to be like that the whole time, he was on a mad dash.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The atmosphere, the food, the ambience is wonderful. The service is impeccable. Don’t miss this great Italian restaurant!

Given the prices at Trattoria Romana, I expected a lot more. The hostess should be taught to be friendly to customers and perhaps smile so they feel welcome. The waiter started off poorly but did improve. He recommended a great wine which was appreciated. However, when we said the swordfish entree was dry, he said it’s because it’s a meaty fish, not flaky like the snapper. He was wrong. The swordfish was simply overcooked. The veggies they serve with entrees were ok but boring, steamed carrots and broccoli and mashed potato. It’s an Italian restaurant, why not serve rapini for example? Presentation of dishes was mediocre at best Lastly, we felt like we were being rushed through. The waiter brought the bill while we were still eating dessert and drinking coffee. He then came back two more times while we were still drinking coffee. Overall, this place is way, way over-priced for the quality of the food and service
