Trattoria Timone is more than just a restaurant, the food, the ambiance, the service, it’s a package deal, but more so there is so much history here and the family presence is what makes it special.

Our head chef/owner has a Sardinian background and brings you cuisines from the Sardinian region, amongst other regions of Italy. From the bread, desserts, pastas and sauces, there are no preservatives and we even pick from our own garden when we can. The atmosphere at Timone's is very nice . We sat at the high tops which is a separated area that was pretty good for noise levels and we were able to chat fairly comfortably. The food and service was excellent. Perfect for a casual get together with friends or family.

Oh we had such a nice evening. None of the four of us had dined here before and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Each dish was beautifully presented — and delicious. The service provided by Jess was quick and attentive and friendly but we did not feel rushed, in spite of it being the holiday season and a full house. Although a high sound level, we could carry on a conversation and it added to the energy. We definitely will return.

It was our first visit to Trattoria Timone but it definitely will not be our last. Our server, Alexander, was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The caesar salad has just the right amount of garlic. We shared it and it was brought to us in two separate bowls; a nice touch. The dinner rolls were warm when they were brought to our table. Mmm, so good. I ordered the Fettuccine with smoked chicken and alfredo sauce. It is a huge portion which I could only finish about half so I will enjoy the rest at home. No complaints there; it was delicious. My partner had the sample platter which included a lamb chop, a steak and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegies. I enjoyed his steak and he enjoyed the rest of his dinner. Oh, we also had bruschetta which was excellent. The tomato and basil were flavourful and delicious. I can't wait to return there even though it's a 30 minute drive from home.

Service was very rushed. Lots of added tables meant it was very crowded, incredibly loud. Not an enjoyable experience for the cost. Of the two dishes that were ordered one was good, the other was not very good. Will not go back.

I went to TT to celebrate my birthday. It was incredibly busy, but we were attended to promptly and courteously. The grilled calamari appetizer was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we felt there was good value in the portions, which were generous. It was loud, so maybe not good for a romantic dinner.
