Urban Grub is a casual fine dining bar and eatery located in a renovated carwash in Nashville’s iconic 12 South district.

The design of the restaurant features a rustic elegance, filled with custom woodwork, stone fireplaces and rounded booths tucked in intimate corners. Urban Grub offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a combination of the two in the beer garden, accompanied a view of the restaurant’s meat curing room, as well as a covered gazebo for larger parties.

From the inviting indoor-outdoor atmosphere to the elevated Southern cuisine of fresh seafood, house-made charcuterie, and prime dry-aged steaks, the experience is unforgettable.

My fiancé and I went here to celebrate his birthday. Our last visit was about 2 years prior and everything was delicious then. Sadly, we learned going on a Sunday evening is when everything is sold out. I wanted the scallops but was told later that they were sold out. So I chose the salmon - also sold out. I got the carbonara pasta- which was very good, but I wasn’t quite in the mood for it. Our sides were delicious- the tandoori carrots and mashed potatoes so good. I just wish they have the food available that I wanted. Maybe next time we go, we’ll pick a weekday.

Everything was amazing. Steaks were cooked perfect, those who got the pork chop said it was the best they'd ever had. Really made the night special.

We love this place! We always spend a ton of time & money here but we think it’s decent value. They’re certainly not giving it away, but they don’t gouge you either.

Sidney was an outstanding server… the pork chops were the best of any I’ve had anywhere. Prices reasonable and drinks and beer selection were very good. Highly recommend this spot!

Best food in town. Had a later reso, and our server didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Awesome experience.

Our waitress was great! She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave good suggestions. It was quite loud and dark enough that it was difficult to read the menu. The food itself was just okay. Lots of unhealthy southern dishes that didn’t interest me or my husband. The fish I ordered was bland despite the chutney on top. It still had the skin on and with all the components on the plate it was difficult to get the skin off and not get it mixed into the rest of my food. I wouldn’t order it again. Our cocktails were delicious. If I came back here agin it would just be for the drinks.

Too write a review every time I go there seems redundant but it just seems to be better every time I do! Christi my server is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. There is nothing she can’t tell you about the menu and Michael the manager is just so sweet. Dibril the bartender is super great. I love going here as I know I will have a great time, great food and service. Thanks for another great evening!!
