Could have been lovely, but the service was visibly arguing with one another and took 20 minutes to remember our table even existed. Food was tasty albeit pricey and the hostess was actively rude. Maybe this was a Christmas eve fluke.. but would not recommend.

Great spot for a winter meal. We ate in the fireplace room, which had a wonderful country inn ambiance.

My wedding photos were taken here in 2001- always a special place in my heart and the service and food , along with the setting is amazing. Christmas here at the Inn is always a must to end the year on a positive note.

This quaint and historic restaurant could easily be a five star, however, visiting in the winter with 20° outside there was very little to no heat inside. Fireplaces could potentially, at least have electric in them, but they were dead. Seating very tight, but it is a historic and small building. You have to be in the mood for this type of atmosphere, which could easily be boosted a hundred fold with candles and lanterns, and something in the fireplaces, but more than anything not to have to eat with your coat on. Our waiter Tristan was wonderful. The food was good but on the cold side, probably due to little or no heat inside The menu was upscale and different -so that was a big plus. Again. Food could have been served much hotter but was received lukewarm. The quality of the food and the cook was very good. Drinks were perfect. Price very good.

A friend and I had brunch on December 15th. The experience was delightful. Valley Green Inn is a historic inn and has been beautifully maintained. Our meals were perfection! The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back!
