    Outstanding as always. The bistro steak medallions tasted delightful, the baby spinach & beet salad with chicken was marvelous, and the service remained excellent. Good time and a great lunch on New Year's Eve.

    We invited our family for lunch. Our reservation was at 1:30 pm. After we were seated, we were told we would need to order soon as the kitchen would be closing to get ready for dinner. My nephew and his wife were about 10 minutes late. The waiter suggested we look at the menu while we waited for them to arrive. A couple of minutes after they sat down, the waiter came to take our food order. They barely had time to look at the menu. We ordered a salad to share between two people. Normally, the salad is split in the kitchen. Today, we received one salad and two plates to split the salad ourselves. Of the 6 people, four of us ordered the Steak Sandwich, which has always been my favorite at VG. Today, the sandwich was served on a cold, hard Dutch Crunch type roll. There was more bread than steak. All four of us did not finish the bread from the sandwich. I don't know if it was an off day or because they were preparing for dinner for New Year's Eve, but it was not a good experience. VG has always been a place we go when we want a nice meal out. After today, I'm not sure we will return.

    Great food, service was good. Our bartender server seemed very rushed but served our food requests well

    I have eaten at Vintner Grill more than 5 times and never a disappointment. Service is great, food perfect, and ambience divine. Tucked away and invisible from the street but locals definitely know how to find VG. Great place to have dinner with friends, family, or significant other. I rarely see kids at the restaurant so not sure if they offer a kids menu. Setting is definitely for adult dining.
