   Another nice visit to Whiskey Cake. We enjoyed our server and the yummy food. We will return again when in town.

   We had a reservation and we arrived a few minutes earlier than our time so we expected a good table. We were ushered to a table where the light was directly in the people in my party's eyes who were facing the windows. There needs to be a shade on that window as the people across the table from me were completely obscured from my view while sitting there. Other than that, our service and food were very good and the price was right. This is a place with a good energy vibe so I expected it to be a bit noisier. It is a very popular and fun restaurant.

   The WC chicken and waffles is usually excellent. Unfortunately, today was the exception. The waffle was overdone and had sat for some time. Very stale. Otherwise, the food was very good.

   Overall, it was a good experience. I hate that they replaced the original hamburger with a French onion burger.

   We enjoyed Whiskey Cake Plano. The pork chop (dinner menu) is the thing to get there - the best! We got there at 4:30pm for social hour drink specials and then ordered off the dinner menu. The chicken could have been seasoned a bit more but had a nice juice for dipping. The veggies were really good but were room temp to cool. I enjoyed my second Old Fashion after specifying one cube as the first had too much ice. My wife enjoyed her Colada Fresca which was like a mix between Pina Colada and classic Mojito. Our waitress, Linzie, was great and was the icing on the cake. BTW the Whiskey Cake was wonderful! Overall, we really enjoyed this restaurant and will know how to optimize our experience next time: Two pork chops and specify one ice cube in the Old Fashion.

    The employees (servers, manager, etc.) are the absolute best! I had just sat down with my sisters for lunch when I found out my parked car, as well as two other cars, had been hit by another car. Lindsey, the manager, went out of her way to show her concern for me and ease my situation--comping my drinks and offering to send my food home with me. Without going into too much detail, with help from hubby, I was able to stay and still enjoy lunch. You just don't find this kind of treatment these days. Valerie, our server, took great care of us. And, oh, BTW, the food is excellent!! A few of us had the Smoked Chopped Chicken Salad--fresh and delicious. The deviled eggs are amazing. I have had burgers in the past and they are terrific too! You can't go wrong. Love Whiskey Cake in Plano!!
