The extensive menu features broiled steaks and chops, wood-roasted seafood and roasted meats, all prepared in an open kitchen. This place has really gone downhill. They are cutting corners everywhere! It was once an upscale steakhouse with amazing food and service. We went in with a reservation on a Sunday at 4:30. The place was swamped. We did get a great table (booth) so we were not being bumped into in the main room. That was a plus. The breadbasket came and there is no longer cornbread in the basket, Waiter told me I can buy it as an appetizer. The bread served was OK except for the dark rye that they put raisins in. Pretty gross. They did not seem fresh either. The French Onion Soup I ordered was good, but tiny. Less than an 8th of a cup of broth. Just seemed cheap! I ordered a burger for my meal, it was cooked to my liking but when I asked for some pickles, I was told there were no pickles in the restaurant and they quit serving them. My side dish was the au gratin potatoes, the plate was warm but the potatoes were room temp and congealed. Plus, they almost tasted sour. Not good. When the waiter asked how everything was, I asked to speak with management. Management never came. It took forever to get the bill and you have to be sure they do NOT add or sneak in service charges. Too many restaurant option in the area to pay for this overpriced food. It's sad, this used to be a favorite.

Very busy, so many people love it. Large parties. My lemon pepper chicken breast cutlets were over done. Not tender. Noisy. Hard for people to have a conversation. Nothing can be done about it. Popular. Wish they had one of their rooms designated as a relatively more quiet area.
