Over two decades ago we were inspired to create a restaurant that welcomes, entertains and nourishes our customers the Italian way, like family. Known to the locals as Zia's, this quaint neighborhood restaurant is located just blocks from the Chesapeake Bay, nestled in the heart of Chic's Beach. Specializing in authentic Italian cuisine, the chalkboard menu features an array of flavorful chicken, veal, beef and seafood dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Weekly additions of seasonal fair, featured wines, and homemade desserts bolster more traditional menu selections. Family and friends enjoy casual dining with great food, a well rounded wine list, and specialty martinis at an excellent value. Salute!

Very cozy atmosphere. Do not sit near front entrance and windows, was very cold drafting. This was only complaint. Service was good, waiter was knowledgeable on ingredients of food and understanding of wines. Food was hot upon serving and tasted great. Table bread was warm and crunchy outside and soft inner core, greek salad was tasty and delicious. Serving size was great for a big appetite. Cocktails 🍸 made with an experienced mixologist. Dessert menu is limited and needs alittle more regional Italian selections. Overall great experience and will return.

Celebrating New Years Eve at a restaurant can always be tricky. Zia Marie’s made it simple with accepting reservations. Our server was so nice and seeing so many neighbors and friends in one place is always fun! Thank you!!

Love the food here, was a bit noisy but it was New Year’s Eve and we didn’t mind at all! Everything was perfect!

I realize I was there on NYE but was too noisy for any conversation less than a raised voice if not a shout. Problem is short wall between main restaurant and noisy packed bar scene with people 2-3 deep. We’re been to zia many times at old location and enjoyed the ambiance there and food seemed better. Only been new locale twice and doubt I’ll be back. Food less than expected and too noisy.

We had the rockfish, baked oysters, stuffed eggplant, everything was delicious. Service was excellent, as always.

It was Christmas Eve, had a 730pm reservation, and we were seated by 745pm. However, we ordered dinner by 8 pm. It was not served until 9 pm. Simple dishes like pasta marinara. The food was very good. Waitstaff was very good, very courteous throughout the night. It just appears the kitchen can't keep up with the orders from the larger dining room. I used to love the ambiance at the old Zia Marie location. That ambiance is missing at this "new" location. Food is just as good but now it is just another Italian restaurant.

Christmas Eve dinner and brought my mom with my husband and son. Unfortunately this was not a good night for Zia Marie’s. Food took about an hour and a half to come to our table and one table next to us. They had a toddler and infant, so I felt bad for them! The waitress definitely was aware and acknowledged it and apologized, and we knew it wasn’t her fault at all. Just was super odd. People with the same party size came in after us and left before us and had an entire meal. Not a typical experience at Zia Marie’s but bummed we spent $200 on this meal and it was super stressful and we left a bit frustrated and tired.
