Over two decades ago we were inspired to create a restaurant that welcomes, entertains and nourishes our customers the Italian way, like family. Known to the locals as Zia's, this quaint neighborhood restaurant is located just blocks from the Chesapeake Bay, nestled in the heart of Chic's Beach. Specializing in authentic Italian cuisine, the chalkboard menu features an array of flavorful chicken, veal, beef and seafood dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Weekly additions of seasonal fair, featured wines, and homemade desserts bolster more traditional menu selections. It was Christmas Eve, had a 730pm reservation, and we were seated by 745pm. However, we ordered dinner by 8 pm. It was not served until 9 pm. Simple dishes like pasta marinara. The food was very good. Waitstaff was very good, very courteous throughout the night. It just appears the kitchen can't keep up with the orders from the larger dining room. I used to love the ambiance at the old Zia Marie location. That ambiance is missing at this "new" location. Food is just as good but now it is just another Italian restaurant.

Christmas Eve dinner and brought my mom with my husband and son. Unfortunately this was not a good night for Zia Marie’s. Food took about an hour and a half to come to our table and one table next to us. They had a toddler and infant, so I felt bad for them! The waitress definitely was aware and acknowledged it and apologized, and we knew it wasn’t her fault at all. Just was super odd. People with the same party size came in after us and left before us and had an entire meal. Not a typical experience at Zia Marie’s but bummed we spent $200 on this meal and it was super stressful and we left a bit frustrated and tired.

Zia’s is always our go to when company and family are in town. We have been patrons for over 20 yrs. Our server was very attentive, personable and in gaged. The bread was fresh and hot (a meal within itself) the stuffed eggplant was amazing. We have celebrated many occasions and life events at Zia’s.

Bill and staff, Once again, y’all didn’t disappoint! We made late reservations last night and I asked for Booth one and y’all were very accommodating! I can’t say enough good things about you, your restaurant, and your staff though I tell everyone. Y’all are great and keep up the fantastic work! Really really appreciate y’all! See yall again soon! Zias stuffed eggplant and portabellas Are the best in town! Could drink the marinara it’s so good. Chloe was very attentive and we had a nice Italian primitivo and caramel pecan cheesecake. Don’t skip the homemade desserts!

We've been before, but not on a Monday night. Pleasantly surprised to find Monday's are half off wine night. Made for a great start to dinner. Veal and Chicken parm were both great. Service was fantastic as well. Nice crowd and vibe. It was very busy for a Monday. Overall a great experience. We will be back.
